Yoga is a practical science that assists in bringing wholeness to your life. It’s called a Mind/Body practice because the two are intimately connected and work together (or against each other) to function. Life can be blissful if you have the right tools. The goal of yoga is to direct and focus mental activity. We do that through a combination of activities and exercises that help to bring more self-awareness and self-control to our daily lives. You have to practice to really understand and appreciate the benefits, but there are many physical, emotional and spiritual benefits from engaging in a regular practice. Some of them include inner peace, serenity, life balance, emotional regulation/stability, healthy blood pressure, healthier diet, weight management, muscular strength and flexibility, endurance, better breathing and much more.
