It’s possible, according to Justine Schrimsher – life coach and mother of 3 – who did lose a child and yet continues to thrive.  Listen to her story here and see if she can help you or someone you love cope with the grief of one of life’s greatest tragedies.  It is a huge honor for me to know Justine and to have interviewed her for this purpose:  to help other grieving parents cope with the loss of their children and learn to thrive while honoring their child’s memory.

It’s not just parents who grieve.  Anyone who was in relationship to the child suffers as well. Please share with someone you might be able to help.

Justine and her son TJ

On September 14, 2007 Justine’s life and how she viewed the world was forever changed when her 21 year old son, TJ, passed away.  In her quest to find peace, healing, and continue to be an active parent to her two living children, Justine realized that in order to once again find joy and purpose in her life, it was important to help others heal as well. This led to her decision to go back to school to become a life coach, and ultimately, to leave the corporate world and establish Heart and Soul Healing. The love and support of dedicated friends and family members continues to be integral in Justine’s healing process, as is meeting and networking with other bereaved parents.  Justine  has been involved in organizations that provide resources and support for other parents who have lost children.  She continues that mission every day and in the above video she shares some of her coping strategies with us.

Justine believes that by educating, empowering, and inspiring other bereaved parents and families who have experienced loss, she is honoring her living children as well as her son’s memory. Her website is www.heartandsoulhealing.net.
